Ex alumno de ICANA, camino al MIT: "You were the first one who believed in me"

Dear Sol,

I hope this message finds you well. I am Ignacio Arzuaga, and I have been your student at ICANA in 2014 at the Advance level courses. I am writing this time because I want to share something with you that I believe you will enjoy.

You were the first one who believed in me and encouraged me to apply to a scholarship to study at United States. Thus, I want to share with you that, finally, last year I obtained the BEC.AR scholarship, which is a program organized by Fulbright, The President's Cabinet and the US Embassy in Buenos Aires to study Master programs in Science and Engineering at US.

After applying to several universities, last month I was admitted at MIT's school of engineering to pursue a MS in Civil Engineering, with a RA (Research Assistantship). I am very happy with this possibility. Not only for being admitted at MIT but also for obtaining this RA which covers the part of the tuition that is not covered by my original Fulbright's scholarship.

I wanted to share this good news with you and, through you, with all ICANA, because I believe all of you had a lot to do with it. I also wanted to thank Esmeralda Ureta and Alicia Renda, because they were also teachers of mine. To be able to apply to MIT is required a score over 100 in the TOEFL ibt exam. I've got 107, and I deeply believe that ICANA and the three of you have a lot to do with this result. Thank you!

Thank you for your dedication and kind attitude towards me, and for believing in me from the very first time. I couldn't continue in contact with the other guys and girls from ICANA, but it would be great to meet all of you again some time in a near future.

I hope all goes well. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Ignacio (Nacho).
